Lets Go For A Walk (The Benefits Of Walking)

I remember as a teenager, I never wanted to be caught dead walking. Everybody I knew wanted to drive. If you think about it, those were some of your healthiest days. People don’t really walk like that no more and that’s bad because walking has multiple health benefits. If your job is around the corner, you should walk. I know people, who are so out of shape and won’t leave the house unless they’re in a car....shits crazy. Like how lazy are we my G to where we can’t even walk to the corner store from time to time? All I’m saying is you got to do cardio. There are multiple benefits to cardio. Here are a few:

Spiritually: walking is very significant in the Bible. It reminds me that God is all around us. Muhammad traveled land on foot, Buddha found enjoyment in connecting with the land. I name dropped all three of religious symbols because statistically you got to somewhat rock with one of them.

Mental: if you had a hard day, a long day, or you got a long day ahead of you, a walk can get you prepared and clear your mind. It allows you to think, meditate and come to terms with the shit you have to deal with all while using physical exertion to improve your mood.

•Maintain a healthy weight.

Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure and type two diabetes.

Strengthen your bones and muscles.

Improve your stamina.

Improve your balance and coordination.

Health experts recommend that we should walk 10,000 steps a day (about five miles) to stay healthy, yet most Britons walk only 4,500 steps. You would probably need to to up at least 16,000 steps a day to lose weight. Knight suggests the following workout plans, depending on your level of fitness.

A little bit of heel and toe can make you stronger in the bedroom too fellas, a study found walking improved penile blood flow amounts just by walking two miles at a brisk pace per day — about a half hour walk a day.

So next time people, if you have the time to walk 5 miles or less, walk it baby! Help your body help your mind and help your spirit. There it is, the mental, spiritual and physical benefits of walking.
